How do Humanists and non-believers celebrate the holiday season, when most Christmas traditions seem to be grounded in supernatural, religious beliefs? Find out more by attending the first ever joint Winter Solstice and Humanlight Celebration!

  • Find out more about the origins of holiday traditions, and stand to win attractive prizes, by participating in our Holiday Traditions Quiz hosted by experienced quizmaster, Caleb.
  • Celebrate HumanLight, a holiday created by the New Jersey Humanist Network in 2000 as a day to celebrate the ideals of reason, hope, compassion and humanity.
  • Show your appreciation of the natural universe and commemorate the shortest day of the year, the Winter Solstice.
  • We will be collecting donations for a charitable organization on that day so please bring money for donations.

Most of all have fun and make merry with fellow Humanists!
