Q: What happens after I've submitted my application to join HSS via the website?

A: You'll receive an automated reply via email to let you know that your application has been received by our system and will be processed. We'll then contact you as soon as we can to inform you of the status of your application, usually within 3 working days.

Q: Then what's next?

A: You will need to pay the registration fee (one time charge) of $5 and the yearly membership fee of $10. Once the Treasurer confirms to have received your payment, a login/password to access the "Members Only" section of the website will be emailed to you.

Q: Is the information provided at registration time displayed on the website?

A: No, the registration's information is kept on an entirely different and private location. Click on the link "User Menu --> Your Details" to check the information kept on the website:

• Name
• Email
• Couple of technical stuff like language and time zone

You have private access to the list of your payments under "User Menu --> Your Payments".

Q: What other information can I find on the website?

A: The website's content is growing regularly. Note that some sections are for members only:

1. A Photo Gallery where we share our photos
2. List of other Internet links to Humanist websites (you can submit new links)
3. Post comments to articles
4. Participate to the on going discussion in our forum

Q: What advantage to I gain by joining the HSS?

A: Besides the full access to the website, you will get 20% discount at HSS events.
